A Good Samaritan was left dripping with blood after stepping in to assist a sheriff’s deputy attacked by a suspect following a site visitors cease.

Asserting the awards, Sheriff Mike Chitwood mentioned: ‘All my respect and gratitude goes out to those two males who took motion once they noticed a deputy beneath assault. It makes me proud to know that in Volusia County, our residents nonetheless have our deputies’ backs.’
