A pair has been slammed for making a ‘grasping’ request on their ‘cheesy’ marriage ceremony invitation.

Friends acquired a card with a ‘horrible’ poem encouraging them to withdraw $100 from ATMs to current to the newlyweds on their large day.

‘So place your money in our wishing properly and make our desires come true, that might be swell.’

However the verse hit the incorrect notes with readers on social media, with one lady writing: ‘Grasping. I would not be stunned if that they had an precise ATM at their marriage ceremony.’

One other added: ‘Eeek.. I really feel like the selection of phrases in regards to the wishing properly is a bit…cheesy.’

Others have been extra irritated by the poor construction of the poem.

‘The largest crime is that it is a TERRIBLE poem,’ one individual mentioned, whereas a second quipped: ‘1. Be taught to price range. 2. Be taught to rhyme.’

A 3rd mentioned she was extra offended by the ‘horrible try at rhyming and poetry’ than by the request for cash.
