Schoolboy, 12, who was ‘killed by 14-year-old on Lincolnshire village inexperienced’ suffered stab wounds to the neck, chest and stomach, inquest hears

A 12-year-old schoolboy who was ‘killed by a 14-year-old on a village inexperienced in Lincolnshire’ had suffered stab wounds to the neck, chest and stomach, an inquest has heard. 

Haven Excessive Academy pupil Roberts Buncis was discovered lifeless in Alcorn Inexperienced, Fishtoft, on the morning of December 12, 2020 – two days earlier than his thirteenth birthday.

Coroner Paul Smith opened an inquest into his loss of life and mentioned the provisional outcomes of a autopsy examination by forensic pathologist Professor Man Rutty gave the reason for loss of life as ‘stab wounds to neck, chest and stomach’.

Detective Inspector Andy McWatt, of Lincolnshire Police, informed the listening to on the Myle Cross Centre in Lincoln: ‘Police have been known as to Alcorn Inexperienced at 10.22am on December 12 following stories of a male being discovered lifeless in a wooded space behind that inexperienced.’

He mentioned paramedics attended the scene, the deceased was initially believed to have been a 30-year-old man, and that the police investigation continues.

A 14-year-old boy has been charged with Roberts’ homicide and was remanded in custody.

A 13-year-old boy arrested on suspicion of homicide has been launched below investigation. 

And a 19-year-old man arrested on suspicion of homicide has been launched with no additional motion.

Coroner Mr Smith suspended his coronial inquiry because of the felony investigation.

He mentioned: ‘The matter will likely be resumed following the conclusion of ongoing felony processes.’
