Indonesia will launch radical cleric and alleged mastermind of the 2002 Bali bombings Abu Bakar Bashir from jail later this week, its authorities says, upon completion of his jail time period.

Bashir, 82, who was amongst Indonesia’s most infamous extremists, is taken into account by some to be the non secular chief of the Jemaah Islamiah (JI) community.
