Arsenal looking to make a January move for Christian Eriksen

Arsenal according to reports are looking forward to make a January move for Inter midfielder Christian Eriksen to ease their creative woes.

Arsenal eye January loan move for out of favour Inter star Christian Eriksen

The Gunners have had a very poor start to the season which sees them in 16th position in the Premier League just four points off the relegation zone.

Struggling in front of goal, the Gunners have only scored12 goals this season and only Burnley out of the bottom three have scored fewer goals, 8 than Arsenal.

Reports according to Sports Witness via Sky Sports claims the Gunners are looking at addressing the issue by bringing in Eriksen who previously played for their north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

Eriksen is yet to complete 90 minutes for Inter Milan in his 12 appearances this season

The 28-year-old departed the White Hart Lane in January this year for a fee of £25million to Inter Milan after starring in his seven years stay at Spurs.

But Eriksen has fallen out favour under Antonio Conte, scoring four goals and creating three in his 38 appearances for the club across 2020.

Arsenal, although may have the option to bring Mesut Ozil – who has been frozen out since March -to the squad, Italian reports suggests Inter will be looking forward to offloading Eriksen in January with Arsenal the most likely destination but only on a loan move.

Inter are keen to get a player in return with the same deal and Arsenal’s Granit Xhaka is on their cards for a loan deal.

Eriksen is yet to complete 90 minutes for Inter in his 12 appearances this season and has failed to register a goal or an assit.
