Former team-mate and Egypt international Mohamed Aboutrika claims that Mohamed Salah is unhappy at Liverpool.
Aboutrika said one of the reasons why the Egyptian international is unhappy at Anfield is because he wasn’t made captain in the Champions League in the game against Midtjylland with Klopp giving the armband to Trent Alexander-Arnold instead.
Salah in a recent interview with Spanish outlet AS did not rule out a move to either of Barcelona or Real Madrid saying his future is still in Liverpool’s hands.
Mohamed Aboutrika, one of Egypt’s best players of all-time speaking to beIN Sports said: “I called Salah about his situation at Liverpool and he is upset, but that would never affect his performance on the field.
“I know that Salah is not happy in Liverpool, he told me the reasons why he is not happy but they are secrets and I cannot talk about it in public.”
“One of the reasons that made Salah angry was that he was not the captain against Midtjylland.”
