British Family Lost £60,000 Worth Of Valuables And Cash To Robbers In Spain


While vacationing In Spain, a British family got robbed of their valuables worth £60,000 pounds. The robbers knocked out the family of five in their villa in Costa Blanca with a pumping gas and robbed them.

Gail and Alfe Shaw both in their late 60s were on the vacation with their son Nick and his wife who have a 2-year-old son.

Nick woke up in the villa which the family has owned for 15 years to see a masked man near his bed. The man waved something in his face and Nick passed out as well as the entire family and woke up hours after the robbers left.

Items stolen from their drawers included Rolex watches, diamond rings and laptops worth £60,000.

The robbers made away with £24,000 worth of Rolex watches and £11,000 worth of jewellery. They also took some apple gadgets and cash all summing up to £60,000.

Gail said the family will never be returning to the villa due to the experience. He feared he could have lost his 2-year-old grandson through the robbery.
