Barcelona have confirmed that Arturo Vidal has signed for Serie A side Inter Milan but the club will recieve just €1million for the midfielder.
Inter Milan were keen to land the Chile international in January after he got into contractual dispute with Barcelona.
Vidal filed a lawsuit against the Catalans for allegedly not paying some bonuses due and Barcelona accused the Chilean for trying to force a move away using that as a leverage.
Vidal has now gotten his wish as the two clubs on Tuesday agreed on a deal with both clubs announcing it.
Barcelona issued a statement on their official website that reads: “Barcelona and Inter Milan have reached an agreement for the transfer of the player Arturo Vidal. The Italian club will pay FC Barcelona €1million in variables.
“FC Barcelona would like to publicly express their gratitude to Arturo Vidal for his commitment and dedication and wishes him all the best for the future.”
Vidal spent two seasons at the Camp Nou making a total of 96 appearances for the club scoring 11 goals and also winning the La Liga.
Vidal has had a successful career winning eight consecutive trophies in three different countries and has added the Spanish Super Cup to his awesome collection.
He will now join his compatriot Alexis Sanchez at the San Siro as he becomes the sixth Chilean to play for Inter Milan after Ivan Zamorano, David Pizarro, Gary Medel, Luis Jiminez and Alexis Sanchez.
