Everton have completed a move for Colombian star James Rodriguez from Real Madrid becoming Carlo Ancelotti’s marquee signing of the summer.
James has singed a two-yea deal with the Merseysiders with an option to extend further by a year.
Carlo Ancelotti has pulled one out of the bag to get James whom he knows very well after bringing the Colombian to Madrid and also managing him during his time as Bayern Munich boss.
The 29-year-old midfielder who can also operate on the wings was signed for £20m bringing his ill-fated time at Real Madrid to an end.
James was unveiled with a video of him saying, “I am here, I am happy, I’m proud to be a Blue, thrilling the Toffees fan base to have a player of his calibre join their club.
James announced his move to Everton on his social media account posting pictures of himself in Everton shirt siging the contract and more.
He posted : “A new stage for a new challenge in my career. Happy, eager to start and full of ambition, dedication and commitment.”
