Arsenal gave been reported to have agreed a deal with the Gabonese striker to sign a-three-year contract worth £250,000 per week according to The Mirror.

Mikel Arteta is also hoping to keep Ainsley Maitland-Niles at the Emirates following a rising interest from Wolves for the England international.

Niles who graduated from the Arsenal academy still has three years left on his contract with the Gunners and if he agrees to stay will be offered an improved contract.
