Philippe Coutinho has made things clear that at the moment he is ‘fully focused’ on helping Bayern Munich to lift the Champions League and has insisted that he hasn’t given a thought about his future amid heavy links to the Emirates.
Bayern Munich face Paris Saint Germain in the Champions League final in Lisbon on Sunday which would be Coutinho’s last appearance for the Bundesliga champions this season.
The Brazilian midfielder scored twice and assisted against his parent club Barcelona in their 8-2 victory at the quarter-final match and also came from the bench in their 3-0 win again Lyon in the semi-final.
Bayern Munich had the chance to trigger an option to buy the 28-year-old on a permanent deal but passed and Coutinho is set to return to the Camp Nou ahead of the coming season.
Philippe Coutinho still has three years contract with Barcelona but reports claims the Catalans are not ready to integrate him into their team and would look to cash in on the midfielder.
Coutinho struggled to settle in the Barcelona team after making a switch from Liverpool in January 2018 for £142 million and is now tipped to return to the Premier League.
Arsenal over the summer has been heavily linked with the Brazilian midfielder and are tipped to land his signature with Mikel Arteta looking to mix some experience into his team and Coutinho already has quite a good experience in the Premier League.
He told Esporte Interativo when asked about his future that he hasn’t actually thought about his future amd his mind is only ‘fully focused’ on the Champions League.
He also lauded their opponent PSG and expects a great game in the Champions League final.
