North Korea President Orders Citizens To Hand Over Their Pet To Be Used As Meat As Famine Hits The Country

The president of the North Korea Kim Kong-Ueon who was reported to have been sick has come out to call for all to give out their pets to be used as meat to feed people as the country faces a crisis.

North Korea is currently facing a very severe famine as the country is suffering from the scarcity of food to feed on due to the presence of the deadly coronavirus.

According to the North Korean authorities, citizens are supposed to give out their dogs freely or would be forced and taken from them.

Statistics from the North Korean press report indicated that in the year 2008 the country fed on over 2 million dogs as they were killed for human consumption.
