A huge fire broke out in a market in the Ajman Emirate, United Arab Emirates on Wednesday evening
According to authorities, no persons have died so far. No injuries have been recorded either. Ajman police said the large fire has been brought under control.
According to Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah al-Nuaimi, the market was closed for the past four months as part of the Coronavirus pandemic precautions.
The statement which was carried by state media said parts of the market have been completely subdued in flames.
The cause of the fire is not yet known. Officials say investigations will be launched to ascertain the cause of the fire.
The Ajman market fire comes a day after a huge explosion rocked a port in Beirut, Lebanon in the same Middle-East region, killing 135 people and injuring more than 5,000.
