Arsenal are reportedly considering a loan move for Brazilian and Bracelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho which could be worth over £27million.
Sport have reported that the Catalan club are aware clubs interested in the Brazilian won’t be willing to pay a significant transfer fee and are looking at loaning the midfielder again after his loan spell at Bayern Munich.
Reports indicates that any team that will be willing to sign Coutinho will pay a €20million (£18.2m) loan fee in addition to his wages that will be around €10million (£9.1m).
The Barcelona midfielder is aware he would have to take a pay cut to facilitate any transfer move but is seeking to avoid such situation.
Sports understand that The Gunners are gaining momentum daily over a possible move for Philippe Coutinho as his agen Kia Joorabchian is in close connection with Arsenal’s hierarchy.
Tottenham Hotspur and Leicester are reportedly also interested in signing the Brazilian midfielder who won the Bundesliga with Bayern this season.
On his loan spell at the Allianz Arena, the midfielder after making 34 appearances across all competitions scored nine goals and provided eight assists.
Coutinho has less than three years of his contract left with Barcelona, nonetheless the future of the Brazilian future at the Camp Nou doesn’t seem so likely.
