The Queen’s granddaughter Princess Beatrice has married property tycoon Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in a secret ceremony attended by the Queen and close family.
According to sources, the wedding took place on Friday morning at The Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge. It was attended by the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, along with other close relatives.
Tho the marriage was not announced officially at the right time, the palace said in a statement: “The private wedding ceremony of Princess Beatrice and Mr. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi took place at 11am on Friday 17 July at the Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge, Windsor.
“The small ceremony was attended by The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh and close family. The wedding took place in accordance with all relevant government guidelines.”
Princess Beatrice who was set to marry on May 29 was postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak.
