Sean Sadler, 31-year-old has denied the murder of a toddler who died in hospital after being found with a head injury.
Sean pleaded not guilty to charges of murdering Lily Hanrahan and causing her grievous bodily harm when he appeared at Birmingham Crown Court on Monday.
The charges, read to Sadler via a prison videolink, alleged that he killed the 21-month-old on November 22, 2017, having inflicted grievous bodily harm between November 5-12.
Lily Hanrahan, the deceased was found with a head injury at the property on The Green in Northfield, Birmingham, in November 2017 and died two days later.
The Judge adjourned the case saying; “as you have heard, your trial has now been fixed for February of next year. Until then you are remanded in custody.”
