American and sneaker mogul Kanye West has revealed that he contracted COVID-19 far back in February.
The “Jesus Is King” rapper who recently announce his bid for the 2020 November elections disclosed the news to Forbes in a 4-hour interview.
Kanye West also revealed in the interview that he has lost confidence in President Trump and no longer supports him after he heard that the President hid in a bunker when protesters besieged the White House during the George Floyd protests.
“It looks like one big mess to me,” West said. “I don’t like that I caught wind that he hid in the bunker,” Kanye said in the interview which was released today.
Kanye West said that his run for the Presidency is not a publicity stunt. He insisted he will still get on the ballot although he missed important milestones that could get him on it.
Recounting his predicament when he contracted the virus five months ago, Kanye said, “Chills, shaking in the bed, taking hot showers, looking at videos telling me what I’m supposed to do to get over it.”
Kanye West says he believes that he can still get on the ballot with the help of COVID-19.
